Okay here's the deal. this is the place where most of the things you need to know before you apply are put. We cannot stress the importance of reading this before you apply. **stresses and stresses and stresses** Okay here it goes. 接 This new world is Spira, but not the Spira we all know from the game. There are differences big and small. The geography of the world is the same - with desert island Bikanel, and mountains of Gagazet, and the underground dwellings of Guadosalam next to the Thunderplains. However, there are differences from there. Places have changed from what we're used to. Zanarkand is not in ruins, it is prospering quite well. Luca and Bevelle are small towns, not unlike those of Besaid and Kilika. Besaid however, is the biggest of them all for one reason- it is the dwelling place of Her royal majesty Lady Yunaleska, and His Royal highness Seymour Guado. The temple has been converted into a large palace, and the city around it has also prospered.

接 There are no aeons. Well, not anymore. When Yunaleska started her quest to make peace in the world [see Yunaleska's profile for more info], she sealed the aeons themselves into statues. There are 7 temples around Spira for each Aeon - Valefor, Ifrit, Shiva, Ixion, Bahamut, Yojimbo, and Anima. Each one is heavilly guarded, especially those of Valefor and Anima.

接 Due to the fact there are no aeons, there are no Summoners. No one can send people to the Farplane, and there are more fiends than usual.

接 Machina is not outlawed, it is used, though not as heavily as one would think. People use guns for weapons, and machina for industry purposes, but that is all.

接 Humans and Guado live side by side ever since the marriage of Seymour and Yunaleska. However, Al Bhed are treated like dirt, and are enslaved in factories to create machina. Ronso aren't bothered with, unless Ronso leave Mount Gagazet.

接 Blitzball is outlawed. It gives people hope that is not Lady Yunaleska.

接 Aeons were originally used only for war, as there was and is no Sin in this world. Lucky them.

接 The Otherworld characters are people who live in this strange version of Spira. They have no idea about the Spiraworlders, and vice versa. They are not evil mirrors - they are counters. They do not necessarilly have to be evil, but then again, we don't want it to be everyone vs the royalty.

接 When creating an Otherworlder, we want to see some similarities in appearence, and name. But that doesn't mean your character should be a clone of his or her mirror. Be creative. Creative is good.

接Yunaleska rules the world, with Seymour by her side. When creating an Otherworlder, have a think around. You could maybe have Lulu as a hand maiden, or Wakka as the mayor of Luca. Who knows? ...And remember, the Otherworlders don't have to know eachother. Obviously, everyone's going to know who Yunaleska is, since she is the Queen of Spira, but that doesn't mean they work for her. Or that she would recognize them on sight.

接 In this world, only Yunaleska and Seymour may use magic, therefore no one can contend Yunaleska's rule. Please remember this is applying for an Otherworlder.
