Ok. I'm required to write somelong speech about my domain name here, aren't I? So here it goes.
When I sat down to choose a domain name, after I realized that I'd have enough money to afford one, I didn't know what I really wanted to call it. All I knew was that I wanted something that had meaning to me. Something I wouldn't hate in a couple of months. So that ruled out a great deal of things, because while I'm good at finding something I like and obsessing over it for a short period of time, it's just that. An obsession. Something that would fade. And so, finally, after a couple of hours of thinking about it, I decided that my domain name would feature something from one of my favorite books, Krondor: the Betrayal. Why? Because I've loved that book since it first came out, and before that when it was a simple, crappy computer game. And that was about six or so years ago. So I knew this was something I could hold on to.
So I made a list of things from that book that I thought sounded cool, and had people vote on them. TheGreenHeart.net got the most votes. So here I am.
